Controversy has emerged about whether the
police
have the right to carry guns. People often insist that it will increase the violence levels in society. From my perspective,
however
, arming
police
can curb
such
problems and raise stability. In
this
essay, I will outline two positive impacts of
police
carrying guns. The first positive impact is the growth of public security. The presence of weapons can match those potential prisoners. Research into society provides considerable evidence that the criminal rate obviously drops in public areas with armed policies.
For instance
, the amount of bank robbing ever decrease since the Taiwanese government implement the policy which allows
police
to carry hot weapons.
In addition
to public security, carrying guns
also
reinforce the self-protect ability of
police
. High-pressure of contemporary society creates violent criminals.
Police
need enough fire to ensure their own safety or tragedy happens. A well-known news says that the
police
tries to stop a criminal from randomly killing people on a train, and eventually, sacrificed herself. If the
police
were carrying a gun with her, she could shoot them to save not only the passengers but herself. By way of conclusion, fire-armed
police
would not cause higher levels of violence, it only brings safety and peace to the public.
