In many cities, problems related to overpopulation are becoming more common. Some governments are now encouraging businesses and individuals to move out of cities to rural areas. Do the advantages of this trend overweigh the disadvantages?

Due to
the rampant increase in population, it is quite common that the
cities
have become overcrowded and few governments are suggesting organizations and people, to move into the countryside. In my view,
this
suggestion definitely has some advantages,
while
there are drawbacks to be tackled.
This
essay ponders on that note. Looking at the positive side, shifting the companies to the countryside,
firstly
, will certainly help to reduce, the traffic congestion in the
cities
. At present, the business district in the
cities
are utterly crowded and it takes more time to navigate through the traffic.
Furthermore
, enough parking spaces are not available and the vehicles end up being parked on the streets, which even adds to the congestion woes. To cite an example, the
city
of NewYork has restricted, driving down to work as there is not much space to accommodate personal vehicles.
Secondly
, the real estate prices in the
cities
would decrease, which would boost the local economy, as it would help many to purchase accommodation of their own.
On the other hand
, considering the negatives, the countryside needs to be developed to accommodate the changes, and a huge capital is needed to accomplish
this
. The
city
planning needs to allocate a sufficient budget to
this
one.
Moreover
, the development activity would take a few years to complete, and the interim transition phase, would be a difficult one

and needs meticulous planning to achieve that, any miss would dent the investments done.
To conclude
, though there are advantages which outweigh the drawback, in my opinion, a well-planned development and transition from
city
to rural areas, would certainly help to improve the quality of
city
living for the taxpayers.
