Online education is becoming more and more popular. Some people claim that e-learning has so many benefits that it will replace face-to-face education soon. Others say that traditional education is irreplaceable. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

One of the highly controversial issues today relates to whether to use distance learning
instead
of studying
offline
because of its advantages or studying face-to-face still needs to be used. In
this
essay, I am going to examine
this
question from both points of view and
then
give my own opinion on the latter. On one side of the argument, there are people who argue that e-learning can be used in place of studying
offline
. The main reason for believing
this
is that it is very useful when there is an epidemic.
For instance
, when Covid-19 existed in recent years, health became the first priority;
hence
, studying via the Internet had been used all over the world.
Moreover
, it
also
benefits transportation because the students do not need to move to school.
Furthermore
,
this
method
also
brings the students to have a good price. One good illustration of
this
is
while
studying
offline
there are many facilities that have to be equipped, e-learning only needs a smart device and Wi-Fi.
On the other hand
, it is
also
possible to make an opposing case. It is often argued that studying
offline
cannot be in place. People often believe
this
opinion because they think
this
is the method that brings the highest efficiency. A second point is that it is better for either the students or teachers to contact each other directly.
This
method will bring them closer and build a good relationship. All things considered; it can be concluded that both methods have their own merits. From my standpoint, the best course of action would be to attempt to achieve a balance between distance learning and studying face-to-face.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
