Dear Josh, Hope you're well mate! I'm thrilled to tell you that I'm hosting a party next month and I'd be delighted if you're able to attend. As you know my birthday is next month, I'm organising a gathering on March 2nd for family and friends. Since It's my 25th birthday, I decided to splurge and have a grand celebration. The party is at the 'Rose Mansion' hotel on Oxford Street, right next to Gregg's famous coffee shop where we used to hang out when we were in school. Perhaps we could grab a coffee there soon after your arrival. I suggest that you come on the weekend prior to the party. For your stay, I've booked a room in the same hotel and the reservation is under your full name.

Use cohesive linking words accurately and appropriately

Linking words are very important in your essay.

To score effectively on your IELTS exam, you should make an effort to implement short concise sentences coupled with linking words.

Almost every sentence in your essay should have a linking word of some sort.

In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.
