 provided bar chart illustrates the gross local product generated from the IT and
industry
service
 in the UK from, 1992 to 2000, in a period of 8
years
. It is measured in percentages.
Overall
, even though both of them rose over the given time, IT’s rise was at a higher rate than the other ingredient. In the beginning, in 1992, IT accounted for 6 per cent of GDP,
whereas
industry
service
 was slightly lower than it at 4 per cent. For the next four ,
years
 both components became nearly similar between 6.5 and 7.5.
In addition
 to that, in 1996, in spite of a decline in the IT percentage compared to its previous ratio , it still was above
industry
service
. In the following two
years
 from 1998 to 2000, the pattern of IT completely changed.
However
, there was a sharp increase in the proportion of IT in comparison to the
last
years
, the variation in the ratio of
industry
service
 was a minority. On top of that, in 2000, the ratio of IT to GDP was twice the
