Some people think that developing countries need financial help from international organisations. Others think that it is practical aid and advice that is needed. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Developing countries, regardless of the region where they are based, are hoping to develop and be more advanced in all sectors. Though some of them are able to develop on their own, the majority still require help from others, whether in the form of financial
aid
or practical aid
and advice.
On the one hand, I believe that financial help is required, could be just a loan or a total grant, as I am aware that money is a common major issue that developing nations are encountering. We have to admit that everything has an expense, either constructing facilities or educating their residents, both approaches undoubtedly cost a lot of money. I remember a friend of mine, who was the son of a very influential person in his home country
, told me that they actually had the idea and willingness to develop and build the country
like the folks wanted. However
, due to
financial limitations, they had to perform it slowly, which led to the delay of the development of other sectors, business for instance
. In this
case, financial aid
could be very beneficial.
On the other hand
, there are many nations around the globe that actually have enough resources to develop, but they just do not have the capability to do so. In this
scenario, practical aid
and advice are the best possible help they can obtain. Another friend of mine once said to me that his country
was actually rich. It had gold, minerals, and even oil. In other words
, his country
had the capital to be a developed country
. However
, the lack of knowledge they possessed, along with
the fact that corruption was everywhere, prevented the development.
To sum up
, I believe both ways could be beneficial to help countries grow. The ideal option is totally depended on the situation the country
is having. If they at least had resources, then
knowledge transfer is needed. Otherwise
, financial help is required. Nevertheless
, in the worst scenario, they need both.Submitted by priambudihududaf on
