The given bar chart illustrates how many houses are owned and rented in the UK and Wales over the time period of around 10 decades. Data are measured by percentages At ,first glance, renting houses was major in half of the given time period,

it experienced a downward trend. Looking at the graph in detail, in the first year, the proportion of having a home was around 20 % which was equal to one-fourth of the ownership

. In 1939 and 1953, the renting accommodation per cent was exactly the same which was about 70%. In half of the given timeline, both accommodation type's rates were the same which was 50%.
