Dear Abood, Well done ! on getting accepted at the
University
of Toronto in the faculty of dentistry. Let me give you some housing advice. When I did my course there, wished I could find a
place
in the college dorms, but they were fully booked. So I had to rent a condo near the
university
. It was only 7 mins walk from the subway that leads straight to the
university
's campus. To start with, ask the front disk of the faculty for accommodation. If you didn't find any luck with them, don't worry you can try to search online on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist website or Google Maps. I'm sure you'll come across a nice
place
there. Just make sure they are close to your study
place
. Keep in mind that houses around the
university
are pretty old. So choose really carefully as most of them suffer from moulds,
also
try to avoid renting a basement apartment, unless it's a walk-out unit, because they lack good ventilation. One
last
mistake I'd like to see you avoid is living in a
place
with shared laundry. Can't wait to see you in Toronto mate! Best regards, Mohammed
