of consumers from five different countries in different categories in the year 2002.
Overall
, most people spend their earnings buying food, drinks and tobacco as compared to 3 other categories.
Whereas
, it is seen that the least percentage of
expenditure
was spent on leisure/education. Moving on, the population in Turkey spent 32.14% of their total earnings on food, drinks and tobacco which is the highest count amongst all
while
Sweden stands at the bottom of
this
category. People in Italy spent 9% of their total earnings on clothing/footwear
whereas
other countries spent less as compared to Italy. Sweden was again at the bottom with 5.40% of its total
expenditure
spent on Clothing/footwear.
Although
all nations spend less on leisure/education as compared to other categories, it is noticeable that citizens in Turkey spent 4.35% which is the highest among all other countries that spent on leisure/education. People in Spain were at the bottom of
