In many countries today, crime novels and TV crime dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular? What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas. Write at least 250 words

The trend of reading
crime
novels and watching
crime
dramas
is becoming popular these days.
This
type of novel and drama provide their audience with a sense of thrill and suspense that they get so much addicted and
then
there is no coming back. One of the reasons for the popularity of these books and
dramas
is that publishers are using technology to market their products. The younger generation prefers to use their mobile devices
instead
of interacting with people. So, they get targeted by the marketing campaigns and it is not wrong to say that they are forced to watch these types of things.
Moreover
, if they are using platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime
then
they will be shown a couple of other shows just like the one they are watching. The other reason is the content is designed in a way that the audience does not get bored e.g. they add divide the
dramas
into series of episodes and each episode is divided into many plot twists. In
this
way, the publishers keep their audience engaged in watching their content. In my opinion, the publishing of
crime
novels and TV
crime
dramas
should be controlled by the authorities of a particular country. They should
also
impose age restrictions on these materials and monitor if the publishers are following them or not.
However
, the
crime
fiction seems interesting and enjoyable but it has effects on its reader and viewer ,especially on the children. During their developing age, if they observe these types of things they can learn them and try to implement them which would be very harmful to society.
