Nowadays many people complain that they have difficulties getting enough sleep. What problems can lack of sleep cause? What can be done about lack of sleep?

A lot of people are suffering from insomnia or lack of proper sleep.
This
issue is not specific to any age group but rather observed in different ages of people. The two major causes are stress in work life or personal life, and excessive use of an electronic device that emits rays harmful to the eyes and brain, stopping a person to get a proper seven to eight hours of sleep. In
this
essay, we will discuss more details on what are the major issues and what steps could be taken to solve them. Stress is the biggest enemy of sleep. It can ruin your sleep cycle, forcing you to sleep late and
hence
disturbing your sleep pattern.
For example
, the next morning when you woke up, there is a high probability that you will be irritated and lazy, throughout the day. Puffy eyes and dark circles under your eyes are
also
common symptoms which are observed. It will degrade your health. The next big reason is the excessive use of the electronic device,

as phones or laptops. People have a bad habit of scrolling their phones right before they go to sleep.

devices, our brain does not get the signal that we are ready to sleep. Now the big question is, can we do something about it? I would suggest practising meditation, for at least 5 minutes twice a day, to drop your stress levels. I would
also
recommend not using any device one hour before you plan to sleep.

, you can choose to read a book or listen to relaxing music before bedtime. In ,conclusion I would say, we need some small changes in our lifestyle to overcome
such
problems. Meditation and reading books, or listening to music could help us defeat it.
