The diagram illustrates the production of
chocolate
. It is produced by cacao trees particularly ripe red pods of the plant. The tree is grown mostly in S. America, Africa, and Indonesia.
Once pods get ripped it is harvested and white cocoa beans are collected and then
it is fermented between two large leaves. The raw product is spread in the sun in order to dry, and when it is completely dried the beans are put in large sacks and transported by train or lorry to the chocolate
factory.
In the production house beans are roasted at a temperature of 350 degrees Celsius in an oven, and are crushed in the rotating tray so that the outer shell gets removed. The inner part is pressed by the machine which contains a pair of rollers which upon rolling results in the production of chocolate
