The line graph gives information about the amounts of fish and different types of meat namely chicken, beef and lamb consumed in a European country over a period of 15 years. Overall, it can be seen from the line graph that the fish consumption was lower than others throughout the period shown. Also, the amounts of beef and lamb used decreased, while the figure for chicken increased dramatically between 1979 and 2004. In 1979, the amount of lamb was exactly 150 grams per person per week, but this figure decline significantly to about 75 grams,which was a half of the figure in 1979. In term of beef, this figure in 1979 was about 220 grams; however, in the following decade it fluctuated before falling by around 100 grams in the rest of the period. Turning to the remaining categories, we can see that the amount of fish eaten dropped slightly to roughly 50 grams in 2004.
