Nowadays people have wide access to computers on a wide basis and a large number of children play computer games. What are the positive and negative impacts of playing computer games and what can be done to minimize the bad effects?

Many children play games on computers, as computers are more easily approachable these days by many people. The consequences of
this
trend could be positive or negative.
However
, measures can be taken to minimize the negative effects. One of the predominant impacts of overusing computer games can be poor eyesight at a very early age for children, as there are many radiations and rays being released from the screens.
This
may result in using spectacles from a very early stage.
Additionally
,
this
could be annoying for the kids
while
playing several sports like football, volleyball, and swimming without proper sight.
Furthermore
, excessive use of these gadgets could
also
divert children’s attention from studies, which could result in appalling academic results. The initiative needs to be taken by the head of the family to maintain discipline in using electronic gadgets, to avoid detrimental effects in future. Apparently, there are several benefits
also
which can be achieved through the use of these technologies. If a group of adults play them after a hectic workday,
this
can be helpful to relax their minds and have a stress-free life.
Also
, there are many types of games which help in mind development and require logical strategy and planning,
this
boosts children’s thinking ability and sharpens their brains.
Nevertheless
, there are both advantages and disadvantages to
this
trend, what really matters is, how we use them. The main thought is to, be within the limits and to obtain positive areas.
This
is only possible with proper actions from the head of the family.
