In some countries around the world men and women are having children later in life.What are the reasons for this development? What are the effects on society and family life?
Increasing numbers of individuals today have
children
at older ages. I will discuss the causes of this
phenomenon as well as
its potential effects on society and families as a whole.
I believe that multiple factors contribute to this
trend
. Concern for one's level of education is the most important factor. The majority of people now have greater access to education and academic resources than they did in the past. Before 1980, a 22-year-old could have been married or had a 2-year-old child, whereas
today's 22-year-olds are likely to have recently graduated from college and be pursuing advanced degrees, such
as master's degrees. In addition
, adults are more circumspect when deciding to procreate, considering their working conditions and their ability to care for a child into account. In conclusion, the public's life values have changed over time. In the past two decades, having offspring has become less important to many people than having a successful career or happy marriage.
In my opinion, this
trend
will benefit both the general public and families. The global adolescent crime rate will decrease significantly as a result
of parents who are more mature and recognize the value of communication. So that they can discover suitable methods to resolve family disputes peacefully. And this
would result in fewer adolescents becoming hooligans and criminals as adults. Possessing an heir at a later age could be advantageous for both parents and children
. Parents are well-educated and mature enough to rear their children
properly, providing them with access to excellent educational resources and a conducive environment. It is more likely to produce more fruitful heirs than having children
at a younger age.
In conclusion, despite the fact that several factors have contributed to the trend
of people having children
later in life, I am persuaded that both human society and households can benefit from this
trend
