You are a university student living in on-campus accommodation. You are having some problems with the Internet connection in your room. Write to the supervisor of your residence, in your letter: ● Introduce yourself ● Inform him/her of the situation ● Request that the problem be fixed

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to report about issues I am experiencing with the Wi-Fi connection in my room and request support. My name is Daulet Tumbayev. I am a senior year student from the Computer Science department living in the second dorm and my room number is 126.
That is
the room right next to the elevator on the eighth floor. The problem with the internet connection began two days ago. A few times a day my network suddenly drops and a remote server refuses to assign me an IP address to connect me back. The troubleshooting tool states that the problem might be on the server side. I want to request technical support from the IT department. Could you please forward my letter to them? As a temporary solution, I would request a static IP that will provide me with a stable connection. Looking forward to hearing from you, Daulet Tumbayev

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
