You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part time job while you are studying. So you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter give details of your study plans Explain why you want to get a part time job
Dear Nidhi,
I hope you are in good health. I am very happy to share with you that I cleared the GMAT exam and got sponsorship to study in Canada at Sheldon College.
As you know, how badly I was preparing for
this
exam as I wanted to study MBA abroad. This
is a two-year course, and the best part is I got what I was interested in i.e. marketing. The session will start on 1st June, so I am planning to come on 25th May.
One thing for which I am relieved is my college fee, which is sponsored by the Karnataka state Government. Apart from that, for living and for my day-to-day expenses, I don't want to be dependent on my parents, so I was thinking of doing a part-time job. I remember last
time when we talked, you mentioned you are doing a side job in a hotel. It would be a great help if you could refer me or let me know if there are any openings in your hotel.
Hope to meet you soon.
Best wishes,
