the map below show the future plan about the Biology School in a particularly university
The maps illustrate the current set-up of the Biology School at the present time,
along with
the future development of the same site. It is very noticeable that the changes that will occur will be of great significance.
However
, some elements will be kept as is. At first glance, to the north of the university is a green belt made of some bushes. In the middle, is a huge central library. Next to it and on the right of the site is a drama centre. Moving to the south of the premise are a cafe, a lecture room and an IT centre opposite the cafe.
Moreover
, there is a teaching building which is located in the southwest. Some trees are in the corner, on the left side. The future plan consists of cutting down most of the trees and replacing them with a lab and an office. The drama centre will be replaced by a music one. Another addition is expected to take place, which is another lecture room connected to the old one. The It room will be extended in size and will occupy the corner of the university to the southwest. Another teaching building will be constructed and will be connected to the old one. All the trees will be destroyed and a new car park for staff will occupy the same area. The indoor sports hall, the central library and the road will remain intact.
