You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter •say why he/she would not enjoy going to college •explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her •suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter ad follows:

Dear Rohit, Hi, how are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I know it is too long since we guys did not meet after your birthday party. I am writing
this
letter to give you some suggestions that you can consider in making a decision about your future. Having said that, I will recommend you look for a job
instead
of going to college. Because the first thing is college is so far from here and for the study you have to move to the city for your higher education.
Besides
this
, you have to take care of your family as well because you are the only child of your parents. On top of it, getting work is
also
a big relief for your father from the financial crisis. Your grandmother is sick, and
last
month she got discharged from the hospital, so your post will help your father in taking care of the family. Undoubtedly, you are good at customer service, and you have patience and the skills that are essential for
this
career, so
this
profession best suits you. I have one of my uncles, who is working in
this
trade, I will talk to him about you for reference so that it is easy for you to get the position. Take care and give my best to everyone in the family. yours truly, Mamta

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
