According to number of studies, one of the factors that contributes to increased crime rate is illetracy. There has been debates among the individuals in community whether it will be beneficial to educate inmates inorder for them to gain employment after finishing their sentences. I believe it is signifcant for convicts to gain education on various levels to tackle this social issue. Following this paragraph, in this essay I will be emphasizing the importance of the education.
