Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. Do you agree or disagree?

Unhealthy consumer
goods
are estimated to be one of the leading causes of the rise of deceases. There are several ways to decrease the demand for these products,
such
as price reduction. The main concern is the following: will the higher costs solve
this
problem?
This
essay will elucidate my assertions in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Firstly
, a higher price means a decline in demand in most cases. If consumers had to deal will increase prices of unhealthy
goods
, most of them would think twice about reaching deeper into their pockets.
For instance
, these products are easily reachable for society, making
this
the main reason behind the enormous amounts of heart attacks, and other serious diseases.
Secondly
, these consumer
goods
also
lack vitamins and other important macronutrients. Eating and drinking these can cause a feeling of fullness, but they harm the organs and are causing diseases. Worldwide obesity is at its peak historically, and governments are taking no steps forward to solve
this
problem. By replacing high-calorie products with ones that are high in fibre and low in sugar, obesity is excepted to decline over the years. Given
this
question due consideration, I tend forward the opinion that a price increase can be the first step of the process. There is no debate about whether consumer
goods
that contain a lot of sugar are one of the main reasons why the majority of humanity suffers from obesity, With strict regulations, society can step closer to better health conditions.
