Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

Nowadays, Governments are incentivizing businesses and industries to invest more in the regional areas and setup up their factories and operations there. In my view, while there are some potential drawbacks of industrialisation of the rural communities, there are far more significant benefits to be gained with this move.

In the recent world, it has been a common decision of all the graduates to pursue their further studies in a foreign country. Although, there are a lot of hardships that they face while studying and some even work off-campus to run their livelihood but even choose to stay in that country just to seek more career and future opportunities.
