More and more people are migrating to cities in search of a better life, but city life can be extremely difficult. Explain some of the difficulties of living in a city. How can these problems be tackled?

As people increasingly migrate to
cities
in pursuit of an improved lifestyle ,
however
, they often encounter significant challenges within urban environments. In
this
essay, I will be discussing what are the difficulties people face in city
life
and what are the possible solutions to overcome these problems. To commence with, from the outside city
life
looks fascinating
nevertheless
, it is not the same from the inside. Primarily, living in big
cities
is very expensive and one should be earning enough so that they can pay their rent, utility bills, and livelihood.
For instance
: the average cost of living is 2000 CAD in Ottawa, on the other ,hand someone living in a small town can manage within 700 to 800 CAD.
Moreover
, everyone living in big
cities
is busy in their
life
so someone coming new can experience a sense of ostracism.
Furthermore
,
although
life
in the
cities
is not easy these issues can be mitigated by taking necessary precautions. The first thing they should do, before coming to
cities
one should do the proper research about the areas which are cheaper and has access to jobs or they can apply for job online before heading to fulfil their dream.
Secondly
, they should keep their expectations low in the beginning and once they find a decent job
then
they can live a lavish lifestyle. To sum it up, I believe migrating to
cities
can be fruitful
besides
having its own issues.
Nonetheless
, these problems can be alleviated by following some practical approaches.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
