The line graph illustrates how many travellers went on a trip to the Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
It is clear that
there was an upward tendency in the total number of visitors coming there throughout the years. Besides
, the sum of those staying on cruise ships witnessed a significant increase, yet the figure for those staying on the island experienced fluctuation.
As can be seen, in 2010, there were only 0.25 million
tourists choosing cruise ships to spend the night, compared to 0.75 million
of those who remained on the island. 3 years later, the former rose to 0.5 million
, whereas
soared to 1.5 million
after staying unchanged during the first year. Those resulted in a higher whole of travellers from 1 million
in 2010 to double.
Additionally
, over the next 4 years, while
cruise ships were preferable as they kept growing to reach a peak of 2 million
visitors in 1017, accommodations on land stabilized at 1.5 million
between 2013 and 2015 before dropping to 1.25 million
in 2016. However
, it then
grew again and returned to the initial point of 1.5 million
