2.Nowadays most green energy is becoming even more prevalent in both developed and developing countries. Some argue they greatly reduce costs and are better for the environment, others believe they are a serious threat to energy security. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In recent times, renewable
sources
have gained much popularity. Few commentators advise the usage of renewable

of

,
while
others advocate the disadvantages of green
energy
. In
this
essay, we will have a look at both sides of renewable
energy
accompanied by my opinion in the end. Natural
sources
of
energy
have infinite benefits. It is environmentally friendly and does not cause much harm to the ecosystem.
This
form of raw power does not replenish at a faster pace. Fresh
energy
sources
like solar
energy
, wind
energy
, and tidal
energy
are the major contributors that have helped in reducing the harmful emissions released into the atmosphere.
For example
, China has switched to solar power as their main source of
energy
since the year 2000. The Meteorological Department of China has stated in a report submitted in April 2023, that the air quality has improved from 38% to 50%
due to
a reduction in harmful gasses released in the air.
On the contrary
, some individuals argue that running on green
energy
can be a hard job. Relying totally on mother nature is an unpredictable phenomenon. Cities that use solar panels for generating

have blackout days when the weather is partially or completely cloudy.
Similarly
, tidal
energy
is useful only on occasions when the wave gushes out water in a stronger capacity.
This
is again, an unpredictable condition.
For example
, Germany stores
energy
in the monsoon season and utilizes it in the winter season. On the whole, I give my opinion in favour of using non-renewable

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
