The diagram below shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn.
The given diagram illustrates the process of producing ethanol from corn. From an
overall
perspective, it is evident that there are approximately nine distinct stages in the whole process, beginning with gathering corn from the field, culminating with pure ethanol, and ending with transporting ethanol to retail stores. In the first steps of the progress, corn is gathered and brought to a storage point, and they are
then
milled and cooked with water for around four hours. Once it has been cooked, it
then
undergoes a progress of fermentation which takes around 48 hours to complete. Afterwards, fermented goods are
then
put through a process that separates them to eliminate by-product solids and other unwelcoming substances and keep their liquids. Those liquids are
then
purified for 5 hours to become finished goods. The entire ethanol-making procedure concludes after purified finished goods are stored and delivered to retail outlets
such
as retail stores or supermarkets.
