Large internet companies and organizations hold the personal information of many individuals. Do you think the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Large internet
companies
and organizations nowadays collect and store the personal
information
of many
people
. I would argue that it could provide individuals with more advantages than disadvantages since several reasons for my opinion will be discussed in
this
essay. It is obviously a drawback if large internet
companies
and organizations keep their consumer's personal
information
. Consumer
information
may be hacked by
hackers
which impacts negatively on
users
since
this
would not only degrade the company's reputation but
also
harm the
users
since
hackers
could use
this
data for many illegal purposes.
For example
, if the personal
information
of
users
were hacked, the
hackers
could use it to unlock many bank accounts.
As a result
, it would give
hackers
a chance to commit crimes and earn money.
However
, with the advancement of technology and cyber security, it is much easier to prevent
users
'
information
from
hackers
.
Thus
,
people
could deal with the company about the terms of cyber security before giving them
information
.
Besides
, huge internet
companies
and organizations could offer consumers several advantages when they have enough databases of their consumers.
In other words
,
companies
could base on
this
information
in order to produce more products that meet human requirements
as well as
improve out-of-date inventions.
For example
,
companies
would produce more educational facilities if they knew that there are a lot of
people
who are under 18. In conclusion, despite some drawbacks that
people
may face if they provide their personal
information
, I believe that some mentioned advantages could outweigh the disadvantages.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
