The diagram illustrates the features inside an LED flashlight and some steps of how it works.
It is clear that
there are 5 main components creating a flashlight working by the energy of the batteries, as well as
a circuit
used to control the power of it.
As can be seen, the flash has a light bulb, a metal spring, and a flow of current together with
the batteries and metal switch contacts inside, all of which are covered by a plastic case. It also
includes a slide switch outside connecting to a circuit
in order to turn the light on and off.
Regarding the operation, when the torch is switched on, the circuit
linking the metal switch contacts allows the flow of electricity created by the batteries to activate it. By contrast
