Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Discuss both these views give your own opinion.

Bad situations are something common in our daily life. Some might say that we can’t do anything to improve the
situation
, others might argue that we should try everything in our
power
to try to better ourself and
finally
rise from the misery.
This
dilemma has merged in our world for centuries and
this
essay will discuss both views of the people. Some
things
are in our
power
to
change
and others are in the authority of the supreme. Bad situations come in two different categories: the ones we can improve and the ones we cannot do anything about. Several
things
that are in our
power
are: shortage of money, unsatisfactory profession and grades. Outcomes that are not in our will to
change
includes: death, sickness and natural disaster. When we have that authority to
change
a bad
situation
into the opposite, I don’t think there is any reason not to.
For instance
, students who are lazy tend to get bad grades. I believe with dedication and hard work the fate of their grades would definitely improve. In
this
scenario just going with the flow is definitely absurd and so called lazy. So, doing something simple
such
as studying can definitely turn the tables around and pull you up from a bad
situation
. Other
things
,
however
,
such
as catastrophic events, sickness and death are not in our
power
to
change
. An ill person
for example
should not be mocked for not working and having a daily job like the others. The only work he is expected to do is to follow the doctor’s prescription and the rest are in the Almighty’s hands.
Nevertheless
, once we have the authority to get out of a bad
situation
, we should always strive for it. In conclusion, in all aspects of life we should always try to pull ourselves out of a bad
situation
.
However
, some
things
are not for us to
change
and with that we should just follow the flow and see what life offers us.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.
