You stayed at a friend’s house last weekend and lost your watch. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, you should: Thank him/her for the good time you had. Describe your watch. Tell your friend what you would like him/her to do with it if he/she finds it

Dear Zaki I hope you are doing fine, I had a great time at your place
last
weekend, so thank you so much for having me there and
also
for proposing the idea of spending the weekend together because it's been a
while
since we met. Anyway, when I got home and I unpacked my belongings, I realized that I lost my watch, so maybe it's still at your apartment. It's a Casio watch worth 150 Dollars, it's an old-fashioned black watch with my initials written on it, the
last
time I wore it was the moment we met. I really hope that you'll find it there because it means a lot to me,
also
I can't afford
such
an expensive watch these days, in case you find it, could you please give it to our friend Mohamed, you know I meet him every evening at the city centre,
this
will save me the time of travelling back to your place again. I can't wait to hear from you soon All the best Youcef

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
