Dear Sir or Madam,
This
is Karen and I saw your advertisement in a local magazine for a part-time voluntary job. I would like to share my enthusiasm to work in your museum as a volunteer. Let me explain more. Currently, I am studying History at the local university. Since your museum has some exhibitions on ancient architecture and historical monuments, I would like to share my knowledge with your visitors because
that is
a good chance for them to learn more about the history and complete the whole experience.
Besides
, it would be a great opportunity to train my communication skills with people that have different cultural and educational backgrounds since I have a lot of classes to develop my interpersonal abilities, in case I become a teacher. I am available for an immediate start during the weekends for three months. I am looking forward to hearing from you. waiting for your feedback. Sincerely yours, Karen Cristine Agg.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
