Starting with store closures, 6000 to 7000 stores
were closed between the years 2011 and 2014. However
, from 2015 it takes a big jump and from 2016 to 2018 the closing of the stores
stays almost at the same rate.
As far as new store’s opening is concerned, close to 9000 shops had closed in the year 2011. The number of openings of new shops was greater than the closure of the stores

the figure fell to 4000 in 2012,however
, there was an average increase in figures and that is
from 4000 to 6000 stores
