The diagram presents several features inside a simple water-filtering system and how the manufacture of clean drinking water is carried out.

It is clear that

there are 5 main stages in

this

process, starting with unclean water and ending with the finished drinkable beverage. As can be seen, the system comprises 2 separate tanks. The first one is installed with 3 types of filtering materials inside namely sand, and charcoal

together with

gravel and a lid for covering the tank. There is

also

a pipe which connects it to the second container with a tap used for storing in order to deliver the cleaned product.  Regarding its operation, during the first step, the impure liquid is poured into the tank.

Next,

it undergoes the filtering procedure as it is transported through 3 purifying layers of sand,

then

charcoal and

finally

gravel. In the end, the pure drink is brought to the drinking water storage container through a pipe and a tap is installed to get the drink easily.
