Some people think that foreign visitors should be charged more than locals during their visit to historical or cultural places, to what extent do you agree or disagree.

Tourism plays an imperative role when it comes to exchanging cultures with each other in today's world. It is believed by a few people that higher fees should be imposed by the government for foreigners
while
visiting some prominent places, whether historical or some other cultural tourist attractions.
Although
this
approach is advantageous from the
country
's perspective, it has some repercussions as well. In my opinion, the fee difference should be more considerable. The primary reason for charging more fees from overseas visitors is that the residents have already paid the taxes to their government which are being utilized for the maintenance of these monuments.
Additionally
, some extra services are
also
provided by the higher authorities to assist them.
For instance
, the entrance fee for the Taj Mahal is Rs.500 for those who acquire language translators or tourist guides.
This
not only makes it easier for them to comprehend the history and value of these attractions but
also
depicts the special arrangements set up by the state.
On the other hand
, it can enormously impact the economy of a certain
country
with decremental tourism as the tourists might not visit in the future or even give recommendations to others.
Therefore
, the
country
's reputation would be sabotaged.
Moreover
, it seems unfair because they have already contributed enough to the economy during their visit. At Philippine Airport,
for example
, 1500 pesos are collected as a travel tax from every person. To summarize, I would like to reiterate that
while
the money collected from tourism is for the betterment of a
country
, the government should be mindful when making the decision about the rate of entrance fees.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
