You recently ordered a small item online but when it arrived it was unusable. Write a letter to the company that sold you the item: give details about the order you made explain what was wrong with the item tell the company what you want them to do about it

Dear Artstore, I am writing to complain about the wrong item that you sold me. I have recently ordered a small item online from your store but it arrived was unusable. I ordered a new
helmet
in your online store on 2023/05/23 and It arrived on 2023/06/01. But, when I was unboxing the order
then
the pencil was broken.
Therefore
, I cannot use
this
broken
helmet
which makes it dangerous for me
while
I drive the motorbike. I want to tell you about changing a new
helmet
for me that purchased from your online store. I will send you
this
broken
helmet
and I will give a new
helmet
from you. You can send me from 2023/06/05 to 2023/06/15 in the morning. Thank you for your attention to my order. Yours sincerely, Hieu

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
