Some people believe that it is ok to put the needs of humans over environmental concerns. While others feel that protecting the environment should be priortized. Discuss both views.

There are two opposing views about meeting the needs of humans and the
environment
. Some
individuals
argue that meeting the population's needs is more important than that of the
environment
.
However
, other experts believe that resolving first the environmental issues is more essential. For some communities, meeting their needs first is more essential than resolving environmental issues
due to
survival and achieving success. One of the basic instincts of humans is to satisfy their hunger. It means that
individuals
cannot be productive if their stomach is empty,
not to mention
using their thinking brain to facilitate change and provide a positive impact on their surroundings. People are
also
goal oriented. It means that they are focused on thinking about developing their
life
. They learn at school and plan for their success in the future.
Individuals
are central to making their
life
comfortable and providing for the needs of their families.
Conversely
, some environmentalists are arguing that overcoming or resolving concerns about the place where we live is more important as it is linked to the population's survival and
life
's satisfaction. Other experts indicate that human's basic needs are
resources
coming from the habitat.
For
this
reason, if environmental issues
such
as pollution and global warming persist, it will
subsequently
result in a scarcity of
resources
and an increase in diseases. Lack of
resources
and the spread of illnesses are detrimental to the community's survival, particularly the future generation as their predecessors will become weaker and unhealthier.
This
impact may
also
cause sudden death or extinction, which eradicates the possibility of attaining goals and satisfaction in
life
. In conclusion, people believe that prioritising their needs is more important because of their survival and their goal to become successful in
life
. Other
individuals
,
on the other hand
, are promoting the needs of the
environment
more than humans because their survival is dependent on the
resources
coming from the
environment
.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
