a definite job was the predominant reason for people migrating to or from the

UK

. Looking at the details, almost one-third of the people immigrated to the

UK

for certain jobs and that consisted of the highest proportion of immigrants in the British. The percentage of people who came to study was twice as low as those. The next largest figure of these immigrants was accompanied, looking for work and other purposes 15%, 12% and 11% respectively.

On the other hand

, the highest percentage of Britain moved to other countries for their definite job at about 29%. It is worth noticing that the primary reasons for immigration and emigration to and from the

UK

had a similar pattern. Meanwhile, a fifth of emigrants moved to abroad for finding a job

whereas

just 18% of those moved for less defined reasons. 14% of British moved to other countries for no apparent reason and 13% of them moved to accompany someone they knew. The remaining 4% left the

for studying at universities.
