Dear Jaskaran
It’s been so long since we
last
were in touch but I haven’t forgotten all the wonderful times we spent together last
year. I’m just writing to let you know that I won’t be able to make it to your house in two weeks, as planned before.
I feel really bad about it because I know that we have been planning it since last
June. Believe me, I am more disappointed in myself than you are. I was really excited about this
, but it's all ruined now.
There was this
trip planned by my boss that is
coming up around the same week I was supposed to come and meet you. My boss sent me a memo about it too but it just got lost in the email and I forgot about it. Just yesterday when I got a reminder from him, I was stunned. Sadly, this
trip is important for my boss and I can’t miss it.
We should definitely make plans for next time when we are both free. I’ll be back from this
trip within a week. If you are free still, I’ll come by for three days.
Lots of love.
Best wishes
