The diagram shows the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram process illustrates the manufacturing stages of cement and how they utilise it to make concrete for infrastructures.
Overall
, Cement production is a linear process consisting of four main stages: crushing, mixing, heating in a rotating chamber, and grinding. While
concrete involves a mechanical mixer to create the end product.
The first is to combine the two raw materials such
as limestone and clay to crush into powder. Once they are pounded, the powder will pass through a mixer before it goes to the chamber of the rotating heater to remove the moisture. After the heating stage, a grinding process will take place and will produce the item. At this
point, the cement can be sealed in a bag.
The manufactured binding agent will then
be portioned about 15%, mix it along water (10%), sand (25%), and gravel (50%) into a concrete mixer. The purpose of this
is for the evaporation to take place. Therefore
, the final step is when the water has evaporated out of the mixture, the concrete will be ready to use in building infrastructures.Submitted by mjdf0930 on
