Th pie charts below show changes in the proportion of energy produced from different resources in a country in 1985 and 2003 .
The two pie charts compare the 6 different types of categories which producing of energy in a particular country between 1985 and 2003. Units are measured in percentage.
It is noticeable that the proportion of natural gas , coal and other renewable experienced a considerable rise over the given period
while
this
figure for oil and nuclear saw a significant decrease but Hydro was the only pie which was unchanged.
In 1985, Natural gas had a small per cent at 13% but by the end of the given ,period we can see a 10% increase from 13% to 23%. Followed by coal( 8%) and other renewable(1%) sources had an important role in producing energy, and experienced considerable growth from 8% to 22% and 1% to 4% respectively.
By contrast
, In 1985, almost half of the electricity production was made up of oil (52%) which was the main part of production however
by 2003 this
figure had fallen by 39% . During 18 years nuclear also
