It is immediately noticeable that the majority of wheat
exports were occupied by Canada, which reached the highest at approximately 25 million
throughout the period of time, while
the European community bottomed at about 12 million
from 1989 to 1990.
A closer inspection of the trends illustrates that Canada and the European community have been sharing similar upward trends. Canada initially
exports wheat
nearly 19 million
in 1985 and minimally declined in the year after before it considerably hit a peak at exactly a quarter in 1988, and continuously fluctuate to 18 million
