The two bar charts provide information concerning the percentage of services arriving on time both actual and
target
, and the number of complaints per thousand passenger’s journeys between 1999 and 2003, a period of 5 years.
Overall
, it can be clearly seen that 2003 was the only year that the actual performance was higher than the
target
performance of a bus company,
whereas
it is interesting to note that the number of complaints from the passenger was at the highest level in the
last
of given years.
To begin
with the passenger complaints bar chart, the total number significantly grew to about 70 in 1999, 100 in 2000 and slightly decreased to approximately 85 in 2001. After that, it increased to about 110 in 2002 and 120 in 2003 which was the highest rate over the following 5 years. Moving on to the comparison of the actual performance and the
target
chart bar, the most remarkable point is that the biggest decrease was the reduction of actual services from 85% in 1999 to 82& in 2000 before a significant rise up between 2001 and 2003. During the same period, the
target
percentage reasonably fell from 85% in 2001 to around 84.5% in 2003 which is the lowest level.
