In their advertising, businesses nowadays usually emphasise that their product are new in some way. Whay is this? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

It cannot be denied that business owners try to introduce their brands as unique and new in their promotions.
This
could be a part of their marketing strategies. I do not consider
this
trend as a negative development. Generally speaking, there are two main reasons why
companies
nowadays try to promote their services or
products
as a new component in the
market
.
Firstly
, in
this
era of the open
market
, economy there is so much competition in the local
market
as well as
the global
market
. Business owners have to fight against a significant number of brands.
As a result
, they try to perform some gimmick stands to sell their
products
.
Secondly
, consumers especially young customers are frequently influenced by different kinds of international movements
such
as health-related consciousness or fast fashion. That's why
companies
of contemporary times want to establish their
products
as trendy and unique. So in some way, it is a part of their strategy to always maintain a fresh
as well as
new look to attract different customer groups. From my particular point of view, I consider
this
as a positive development. When a company declare their product as a new element in the
market
it should have to do some kind of modification and improvement,
otherwise
Add a comma
,otherwise

to sustain itself in the competition.
Apart from
this
,
this
is an era of social media. People especially Youtubers and social media celebrities always make a lot of content where they review and compare different types of
products
. If
companies
try to rebrand their
products
only as new without improving quality, they will face enormous criticism.
Consequently
, they could lose their face value. For these reasons, branding a product as a new requires some industrial efforts.
Overall
it increases healthy competition in the
market
. In conclusion, I like to state that promoting
products
as new could be acceptable if
companies
really invest their capital in order to improve the quality.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
