was the most popular food chosen by European consumers. Furthermore
, they used to eat around 220 grams per individual per week, At the same time, lamb
was the second preference with almost 140g however
fish was the least popular of the 4 foods with almost 60g per week per person.
In 1982, the figures for chicken
fell sharply although
beef utilization had a slight increase with around 170g. Moreover

presented a significant plummet in purchasing from 150 g
in 1979 to 110g. Surprisingly, during the 25-year period, the lamb
