You have lost an item of value on a train. Write a letter to the railway company. In your letter describe the item explain where and when you left it say what action you would like the company to take

Dear Sir/Madam My name is Clementine and I travelled on your train on 15th August 2023 on a train from Paris to London. The departure time was 10h00. I am writing to you because I lost my laptop on it. I had 2 bags, one was yellow and another was red. The red one had a name tag on it and the laptop was inside of it. I was sitting in car 18, seat A87. The was a small table in front of me where I put my two bags after boarding. The
last
time I checked the red one was still under the table,
therefore
I am sure that I left it on the train. Please check that place for me and let me know as soon as you find it. Here is my number, please call me and I will come to collect it myself. I appreciate your support on
this
. Sincerely

Task Response
Check the requirements of the task more thoroughly. Make sure to include a specific request for the action you would like the company to take regarding the lost laptop.
Coherence and Cohesion
The greeting and closing are polite, but they could be more formal for a letter to a company. Consider using "Dear Sir or Madam" for the greeting and "Yours sincerely" or "Yours faithfully" for the closing.
