Nowadays women are having children at a much later age than the previous generations. Do you think this is a positive or negative thing? Discuss both sides.

this
issue comes with some biological disadvantages, some people think that it has
also
some advantages.
This
essay agrees that increased maternal
age
is a positive matter. In the following, the negative and positive sides of
this
concern are discussed. The
age
at which females bear
children
is getting increased in today's world and it is believed that
this
could be advantageous both for the mother and the baby. Struggling with more tasks, not only physically but
also
mentally and socially, some women have decided to postpone the time of their pregnancy to an older
age
. As
this
decision comes usually with many benefits,
such
as being more prepared for the demanding task of raising
children
and boosting the chances of being able to provide
children
financially and economically, it is agreed that
this
situation can be considered positive.

On the other hand
, the more one gets older, the more risk comes with being pregnant. It is proved that the risks related to having

are raised by getting older.
In other words
, as female's
age
increases, their biological condition prevents them from having a successful pregnancy, even in many cases in the first place they cannot bear

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
