The plans below show the layout of a university 's sports centre now,and how it will look after redevelopment.

The given diagrams depict the design of a university
sports
centre
's layout at the present and after renovation.
Overall
, it can be observed that the
sports
centre
would be enlarged to add new facilities for various purposes
while
some of the features would remain unchanged. The
sports
centre
currently consists of a 25m
pool
located in the heart of the
centre
right behind the reception area. Participants can access the changing room on the left-hand
side
of the
pool
and the seating area on the opposite
side
across the
pool
.
Moreover
, a gym can be found right behind the 25m
pool
and two courts outside the
sports
centre
would later be demolished to widen the in-house facilities. After the redevelopment,
while
there are not any changes to the 25m
pool
, the
side
changing room and the seating area, there is a wide variety of new features added to the
centre
. The gym will be extended to the east, and two more changing rooms will be built in the bottom corner of the map.
Furthermore
, a couple of dance studios will be constructed on the right
side
of the map with a new
sports
hall built opposite them.
In addition
, there will be a huge leisure
pool
erected on the left-hand
side
.
