In many countries, fewer and fewer people go to universities to study science. What's the reason for this? What can be done to encourage people to learn science?
Nowadays, in many ,nations young folks have shown less interest in spending their time learning science at
universities
. In this
essay, I will discuss the reason for this
and what can be done and I will give my own opinion.
Firstly
, universities
have an important role in increasing society's progress, because this
is the best platform to transfer valuable data in many branches like physics, chemistry, and math to new generations. But unfortunately these days fewer people tend to study
at college if we compare with past nations. In that way, one of the major reasons is that powers have faced global economic problems in this
decade, hence
majority part of students who finish institutes are working less because governments can not prepare the right job conditions for them, therefore
these groups have to work in different sectors with low salary, so this
decade juvenile tend to stop studying after getting the diploma certificate because they know that if they had continued their study
would become jobless in the future.
On the other hand
, governments should lay the foundation for encouraging young folks to continue their higher education study
at universities
. Because of that, authorities have to change their priorities because students must know that if they get their certificate with a high score they will find good jobs with high salaries, and they are going to have insurance for their future life. For instance
, a person who became an engineer and worked as a white-collar worker has more wealth condition than individuals who work as a blue-collar worker. As a result
, if students know that their authority supports their future they will prefer to continue their higher education at university.
In conclusion, societies need people with high educational knowledge, therefore
powers have to give guarantee to them with good job conditions and salaries. I certainly believe that we can increase the number of people who want to study
at universities
