some people believe that cutulre will be ruined if it is used to earn tourism revenue but others consider that tourism is the only way of protecting culture. discuss both sides and give your own opinion

Many people argue that
tourism
is a bad thing for their country . Others think
tourism
is a good thing for protecting their country . I completely agree with the second view and there are several reasons that support my opinion On the one hand , those who say
tourism
is a bad thing for their
culture
.
Firstly
, it has an adverse impact on the environment . The influx of tourists contributes to increased pollution levels , overconsumption of natural resources and damage to fragile ecosystems .
Similarly
,
tourism
can lead to the commodification of local
culture
. Host countries may prioritize profit over preserving their unique heritage , resulting in the commercialization of traditions and customs .
On the other hand
, those who say
tourism
is a good thing for their
culture
. First of all , the revenue generated from
tourism
not only supports various industries but
also
provides vital income for local communities . It allows for the development of small businesses like local handicrafts and street food vendors , thereby improving the livelihoods of many . When tourists engage with the local
culture
, it fosters mutual understanding and respect between the host and visitors .
This
cultural exchange helps break down stereotypes and misconceptions . promoting a more positive image of the host country and it is people . In my opinion , these improvements not only eat tourists but
also
enhance the quality of life for local residents . In conclusion , both perspectives have merit .
also
in my opinion more can indeed be the second view . It is more convincing for me .
