Write a letter to you

Dear Linda, Long time no see. My name is Emma. We met at Tom’s party. We haven’t met up to now. Thank you for your reply. I am writing
this
letter to invite you to my birthday party next time. We met each other
last
summer holiday. You and I visited many beautiful places in Vietnam
such
as Hoan Kiem Lake , Dong Xuan Market , and One Pillar Pagoda …. ,
Besides
we ate delicious food in Hanoi. I took you to Ha Long Bay , we went jogging on the beach and went swimming. I remember that the weather was very nice. We enjoyed the weekend day together. You told and shared with me everything in life. It was amazing. I really felt relaxed. It is an unforgettable memory. Next month it will be my birthday. I hope you can come to my birthday party. We can eat cakes, play a lot of games and talk together. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Your friend, Emma.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
